i've got time to post again

i apologize if posting other media or articles not from myself goes against any blogging
etiquette - i claim ignorance.

while sitting in the tractor listening to Talk of the Nation Science Fridays on NPR this afternoon, Mr. Flatow (sp?) hosted an amazing discussion on food, where it comes from, and the problems that accompany our North American food culture. This is something i have always been very interested in, so you should all listen to it...NOW

the irony (ok, maybe not true irony) of this all is that while they spoke of iowa as a food desert where we can grow almost all types of food but actually ship in nearly all of it, i was contributing to this issue while baling corn stalks.
