dilemma
So i've got this new job building trucks that paint lines on the roads. It's a nice job even though it's inside everyday - not something for my entire life, but good for the time being. The problem is this: While on a boat in the Adriatic Sea, i met a guy who lives on a small island in northwest washington and works on a small organic farm. Very recently, he emailed me to tell me that they could use some help on the farm...craziness! The timing is completely off. I really, really want to go for this, but i'm not sure i can or should quit a job after only two weeks; it does not seem wise. What to do...what to do...
In other news, I am in a small town in montana at a quaint little diner and it's a beautiful thing. Everyone knows everyone and is very friendly. On top of all of this, there are mountains here!

so how's ezliner doing? is that big black guy from mississippi still working there? fred, maybe? tell him mr. florit says hi.
why couldn't you quit a job after two weeks if you got a better option somewhere else? what, are they gonna hunt you down and demand you come back? sue you for breech of contract? call all potential future employers to tell them you can't be counted on? :p
are you working at the road-line-truck building place IN montana? i thought you were back in iowa...
hey, i'd say, go for the organic farming. it seems like you'll enjoy that much more.
hey, i'm not yelling at you...really. Stick with the job until harvest (or the end of season at the farm) and then ask if they still need help.
this truck building job is in montana? I like montana. or at least the parts I've been to. Very pretty.
no, it's in Orange City
I will be in northwest WA--so if you do come out, we should hang out!
did you make it back to iowa yet?
and what are you going to do about this farm in washington?
the washington farm option is going on hold until i put in a little more time where i am...and then i'll revisit the decision :)
