i'm back

well, graduation finally hit and the blogging world has some relevancy now (in my humble opinion). i was told by a few that if i write they will link me to their page. this does not mean that you have to link me to your page; i'm simply stating that that is an impetus behind my posting right now :)

i am sad because many friends are gone. graduation week was a blast. i had little to do and many stupendous people to hang out with. however, the tears came when the week was over and sioux center slowly emptied itself of my friends. it's odd to think about those i may never see again. i think my defense mechanism to this is telling myself that i will probably see them again when i take a road trip to here or there. my mind still thinks we'll all be back at school next semester. it seems to makes the "good bye" moment easier but the reality still sucks. i think i want to live in a commune; one like college (without some people) and without the classes...

i'm working on the farm all summer. it is hard work, but i like it. the sad part is that i want to stay up late and then have to get up early for work which leaves me pooped after work.

in my spare time i've been playing music and working on cars. i received another two cars for free and already fixed one. if anyone needs a car, it's for sale ('89 beretta). a few months ago i dug up an old jetta from a local junk yard. it now purrs like a kitten and i would take it anywhere. the better news is that i just found an old vw diesel engine to put into my jetta. this means that i can run it on waste vegetable oil and drive for almost free...and hopefully make some road trips to help mend my sadness.
